One project was analyzing customer review data of company's stores across 5 states, correlating positive reviews with information about the store. Which would be used to create realistic performance goals. This involved merging several different data sets together. Cleaning the result, correlating store characteristics with customer review ratings using multiple linear regression.We ever preformed some basic NLP on the review's text to show what customers were talking about.I have also preformed ETL on various E-commerce sellers. One was a print on demand company that had sales reports going back 10 years and wanted them integrated together to form a cohesive picture of what designs sold, on what products, when and how often to know where their efforts should be applied. In python, I have written a web scrapping script for an organization. The script finds fortune 500 companies diversity and inclusion webpages, negotiates pulling the text, analyzes it and counts how often each protected class is mentioned and then saves the information off as a csv. The analysis was quite simple, displaying the frequency of terms for comparison. But the work to get took 6 months of manual work. The script I wrote cut down that down to 10 minutes reaching 95% of the fortune 500 sites, with only a few outlier cases meaning the whole project could now be completed in a week freeing up resources for other projects.
