 Server and applications solutions architect and administration. My team and I designed, deployed and administered 4 datacenters across 4 states approx. 1500 servers. This included deploying about 30 VMware ESXi hosts running version 5.5 and upgrading them to 6.5 per datacenter to manage the server infrastructure. Deploying 50 ESXi hosts running on Cisco UCS chassis to host our VDI infrastructure per datacenter across 4 states hosting about 2000 sessions per datacenter Created a secure zone within VMware for our VDI users to separate outsourcers from internal users using VMware NSX and VMware Edge Gateway for East West traffic. Designed, deployed and administered a Palo Alto Firewall solution including using a Panorama management console to filter layer 7 North-South traffic to the VDI sessions for each of the 4 datacenters running our VDI infrastructure. Deployed and administered 7 pairs of F5 appliances to load balance traffic within the datacenters for various applications with approximately 60 virtual servers per pair. Ran a virtual F5 lab for testing solutions. Using LTM and APM modules while leveraging GTM from another team. Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, PowerNSX, and PowerCLI, while using modules from various APIs to automate repetitive tasks such as Server Maintenance and ESXi deployment. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, PHP, Ruby and Rails among others. Application design for various software deployments including SharePoint 2014 and 2016, Aspect Workforce Management Software, Verint Call Recording, Microsoft SQL Warehouse Clusters serving over 20,000 employees. Design and configure backend storage and presentation using Fiber Channel, NFS and iSCSI on PureStorage, EMC VNX, HP StoreVirtual, and Tintri. I configured VMware Hypervisors and Microsoft Operating Systems using Cisco and Dell Fiber Channel Switches.
