I am accountable for developing and executing Facilities Operations strategy for the Advocate Trinity campus, and lead a team of 19 facilities professionals which includes seasoned engineers and mechanics, while also working closely with Regional Director of Facilities Operations to identify cost reduction opportunities, strategies and ensure implementation.I participated as the lead for infrastructural design and operations in the COVID-19 Incident Command that ensured the day-to-day operational supports and compliance issues, while making sure that the facility is in compliance with various states and federal standards such as EPA, ADA, CDC, OSHA, IDPH and more, as well as ensuring that the facility is up to code with requirement from the American Institute of Architecture and other building safety regulations.

Provided regional oversight for up to fourteen facilities totaling approximately 900,000 sq. ft. Developed standard operating procedures and managed facilities, maintenance, associated contractors, architects, and design professionals. Oversaw all special building construction and internal move projects, and ongoing facilities contracts. Liaised with government approval agencies to facilitate processes for ensuring regulation compliance.• Managed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) construction project for a 52,557 sq. ft. educational and medical center from ground up. Project completed in just 4 months before the deadline date.• Saved $450k in project cost on 52,557 sq. ft. MEP project at the CPS Educational and Clinical Facility. • Build revenue and manage budget which included cost controls with regard to labor, supplies and inventory and also ensured the completion and maintenance of P&L statement. Realized $250k of annual savings.• Developed all team members within the facilities organization through skill gap analysis and provided internal and external training as needed.• Participated in the centralization and standardization of facilities services within the entire CPS account to streamline processes, including deployment of CMMS system – this generated a saving of over $1.2M in service cost.• Reviewed all construction plans with architects, state and county building inspectors, board of directors and owner. Approved consultants and sub-contractors to assure highest quality of service and direct supervision of their work performance. • Created safety reports, reviewed all accidents, incidents and identify trends as well as implementation of changes to reduce occurrences. • Oversaw and delivered clientele and company financial targets by eliminating custom / manual reporting system and ensuring highest standard of performance metrics, data, order and inventory trend analysis and educating team on key levers to improve margin.
