An ad-hoc initiative began by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to seek solutions for COVID-19. I had the privilege to participate in the rapid development of the AmboVent: a simple yet sustainable ventilation solution for use in a pandemic that may bring ventilation devices shortage.

Assisting the company with their laboratory, preclinical and clinical studies, with risk analysis and device safety tests and with establishing their scientific background story. Part time position.

Achievements:During working at Lumenis I established cooperation between Lumenis and a leading Israeli medical device company and initiated entrance of Lumenis into a new surgical area.

Odem Medical established at October 2006 as a startup company. The company develops tools and methods for optimizing cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) and for various procedures which requires accurate and safe minimal invasive access into the pericardial cavity. (CEO-CTO between 2004-2006 and 2009-2010, CTO between 2007-2009)Specific activities and expertise I executed at Odem:Fund raising - received "Tenufa" and "Incubator" funds from the Israel, Chief Scientist programs.IP invention, writing and administration. Business development, including preparation and management of company budget, business plan, marketing materials and investors relations.Writing protocols and execution of pre-clinical studies. Administration of subcontractors.Administration and execution of regulatory and reimbursement strategies.Achievements:Building a pericardial access device, special epicardial catheter and leads, computer-based cardiac pacemaker and pacing timing optimization module.
