Scope van het project is het migreren van meerdere 2003 servers naar 2012R2 en in deze migratie meteen de SQL databases consoilideren, Exchange upgraden naar 2012. Deze servers draaien allen in een datacenter op VMWare ESX 5.5.Voor het project was ik verantwoordelijk voor het coordineren en verzamelen van de input om de migratie doorgang te laten vinden dmv gesprekken met de functioneel beheerder en de rest van de organisatie en daarna de uitrol van de nieuwe applicatie servers. Daarnaast werd er gevraagd om het beheerteam van de klant te ondersteunen in de dagelijkse werkzaamheden.Na het project aangebleven voor de rebranding van Cition naar EGIS.

Replacing one of the senior Technical Application Managers during a prolonged absence my work contained implementing, maintaining and supporting the business applications like Exact Financials Enterprise, Onbase, IVI, IVV, Primus Gemal and Enterprise architect to name a few. During the course of the assignment my responsibilities increased to include MS Echange 2007 administration (and a little Exchange 2013 when the outsourcing party let me) due to the outsourcing of the local datacenter and transfer of staff to the external service provider.

De migratie omvat de centralisering van de ICT-infrastructuur van een 15-tal bedrijven verspreid over Engeland, Nederland, België, Duitsland, Spanje, Italië, Hongarije, Polen en Denemarken naar een centrale ICT-infrastructuur welke opgebouwd is in een datacenter in Engeland met een uitwijk naar een datacenter in Nederland. Werkzaamheden:De rol van migration specialist in dit project behelst het inventariseren, voorbereiden, coördineren en uitvoeren van de migratie van enkele van bovengenoemde instanties. Hieronder vallen onder andere het intaken van applicaties, het uitvoeren van datamigraties, het uitvoeren van mailmigraties, het inventariseren van de bestaande ICT-infrastructuur, het begeleiden van gebruikers, het bewaken van de kwaliteit van de verschillende migraties, het documenteren en beoordelen van uitzonderingssituaties binnen de migratie en het begeleiden van collega’s. Achievements: Mede verantwoordelijk voor de migraties van de deelnemende bedrijven in de volgende landen: Duitsland (15 sites)
