I am a highly experienced development manager with 14 years of expertise in the built environment. In 2016, I achieved my Professional Construction Project Manager (Pr.CPM) certification, and I am currently in the process of re-registering with SACPCMP for my return to South Africa.I developed a passion for project management in 2010, as a young project manager in South Africa. I had the opportunity to lead redevelopment projects, converting apartments into furnished student accommodations, which was extremely rewarding. This experience led me to pursue larger scale apartment developments, as Development Manager for Realgrowth Development, I work on bringing much-needed affordable rentals into urban areas.In October 2018, I relocated to New Zealand as part of an international recruitment drive for the Asset Development Group of Housing New Zealand, recently renamed to Kainga Ora - Homes and Communities. As Development Manager, I successfully led the delivery of over 200 new residential units in the Oranga Redevelopment project. Later, I was promoted to Senior Development Manager, where I oversaw public housing redevelopments across the Northland region, with over 300 units under design, procurement, and construction.In 2023 I returned back to South Africa, and I am excited to have joined Rabie Property Group based in Cape Town where I will be leading property developments in Burgundy Estate while also working on future pipeline opportunities.
