The company redefined health care for businesses with a platform that simplified employee benefits and improved employee health, raising over $70m in capital and employing over 150 people.In 2008, Gidwaney joined the Synthetic Neurobiology Group at the MIT Media Lab as a researcher. Under Dr. Ed Boyden's leadership, he contributed to the development and commercialization of innovative neuroscience research methods and devices.Vinay was also the CTO and co-founder of Control-F1, an industry leader in Support Automation, later acquired by CA, one of the world's largest software companies at the time.He serves on several startup boards in the insurtech, fintech, and SaaS sectors. Additionally, Vinay is active in non-profit work, including Design for Change USA, which empowers youth to engage in social action; Space Camp at the US Space and Rocket Center, promoting space education; and InnSure, pioneering financial solutions for communities affected by climate change.
