In 2016 I augmented my training with Ron Kertzner's Advanced Facilitation Skills workshop, and ICAgile certification.In 2018 I launched a new optimized posting experience for TurboTax, and a personalized ads platform that resulted in $20M in revenue and deflected-care cost-savings. I won a CEO Care award for my work for our Payroll business. The ACM published two of my peer-reviewed papers on combining Machine-Learning with UX to solve at-scale community problems.In 2017 I led our replatforming initiative, and launched forum communities for both QuickBooks and TurboTax. And I created the Customer Success Design Community and Speaker Series, which brought over 40 designers from five business units together for cross-collaboration and synergy.In 2016 we helped TurboTax win back a coveted PC Magazine Editor's choice award, which noted how "TurboTax makes all of its help tools easily accessible. And they're more plentiful than what competitors offer." In 2015 I co-invented the Question Optimizer℠, which helps people ask questions that are more likely to be answered in a social forum, and is the focus of four outstanding patents and a scholarly article presented at ACM SIG CHI. I also helped re-envision the "contact-us" experience in TurboTax and QuickBooks.As part of our central technology group I helped accelerate our micro-services and widget strategies including Search and FI-connectivity.

My co-director and I built the largest product design team in southern California, staffing a team and designing a beautiful new studio under my direction. I was later made Director of User Experience at CareFusion, and led the design of next-generation Infusion and Medication Management systems.I built a small staff and created a strategic relationship with Ziba design for global Design Research and Industrial Design support.
