I have nearly 10 years of experience in conducting Human Health Risk Assessments for chemical exposures and have conducted numerous primary health studies, including exposure assessments, risk assessments, epidemiological investigations, in-vitro and in-vivo toxicology experiments, and 'big data' studies from national health database sources. In this time I have served as project manager and principal investigator for multiple federally funded subawards to conduct research. I have lectured and presented research to a broad audience to educate, communicate risk, and inform public health policy makers and stakeholders on issues of chemical safety.Not simply an academic, I have extensive applied experience in the human health risk assessment of chemicals. As well, I have worked with numerous industry partners to conduct applied research for the purpose of demonstrating chemical safety or informing public policy makers.
