My main duties in conjunction with Panthera's Conservation Technology Teams, and Data Management Unit to carry out:• The localised curation and analysis of data collected by Panthera (and partners) using approved DMAN software,• Collating and cleaning data from various entities for later use by DMAN technicians.• Delegating tasks to DMAN Interns to realize the successful completion of objectives. • Monitoring the performance of DMAN Interns and providing them with practical guidance, as needed.• Selecting and employing advanced statistical procedures to obtain actionable insights.• Producing and disseminating non-technical reports that detail the successes and limitations of each objective, and • Staying informed about developments in DMAN and adjacent fields to ensure that outputs are always relevant.• To ensure strong functionality and optimization, the DMAN Technician is required to test software products developed or informed by CTEC, including providing recommendations for improvement to existing software programs at a localised scale.• The DMAN Technician is required to facilitate DMAN training workshops and staff upskilling events across Panthera's globally recognised regional hubs. • Local and international travel may be required

Under the guidance of the Panthera DMAN Coordinator and in conjunction with the Department of National Parks and Wildlife (DNPW) oversite: My Key Responsibilities were1. Greater Kafue Ecosystem (GKE) SMART Program • Conduct or provide oversite to all SMART debriefs for all southern GKE SMART capacitated stations. • Edit and fix SMART data when and as errors arise. • Create, supervise, and vet all monthly reports from southern KNP SMART stations and disseminate them to appropriate individuals. • Support the Panthera DMAN Coordinator to create combined monthly reports from southern GKE SMART stations and disseminate them to appropriate individuals. • Catalog and provide support for all necessary SMART activities in GKE. • Facilitate Panthera SMART training events and refresher courses in the GKE. • Provide technical SMART assistance when necessary. • Attend relevant monthly operations meetings and give feedback/presentations on SMART patrol data. • Regular reporting of SMART-collected data to the Panthera program and relevant donors when necessary • Assist with any other duties as coordinated by the DMAN Coordinator and provide feedback on time.2. Wider Panthera SMART Program • Assist with SMART training events across Zambia when necessary. • Assist the DMAN Coordinator with programmatic needs when necessary. • Provide technical SMART assistance where necessary to Panthera-supported SMART sites. • Create documents and training guides that hold relevance to the wider SMART community and can be disseminated as such.• Remain up-to-date and fully engaged with the wider SMART community. • The DMAN Technician will be expected to assist with any other reasonable activities as directed by the DMAN Coordinator
