As a dedicated Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) Practitioner, I play a critical role in ensuring the well-being of employees, contractors, and the environment at a leading gas and oil company with mining operations. With a strong passion for safety and sustainability, I work tirelessly to identify and mitigate risks, promote a culture of safety, and drive environmental stewardship.*Key Responsibilities:*- Develop, implement, and monitor SHE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards, risks, and areas for improvement- Investigate incidents, near misses, and environmental spills, and implement corrective actions- Collaborate with management, employees, and contractors to promote a safety-first culture and encourage active participation in SHE initiatives- Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure employees and contractors are equipped to work safely and efficiently- Monitor and report on SHE performance metrics, including incident rates, audit results, and compliance metrics- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations, industry standards, and best practices to continuously improve SHE processes and procedures*Skills:*- Safety management systems (SMS)- Environmental impact assessments (EIA)- Risk assessment and management- Incident investigation and analysis- Safety training and awareness- Compliance management- Collaboration and stakeholder engagement- Continuous improvement and innovation
