    I joined Prairie Display when the company was in its infant stages, and was instrumental in growing their “Store & Ship” program since its inception. During my time in this position our account list for this program grew from just two to twenty-five+ clients. I was largely responsible for setting procedures and prices for this program, as well as attending to the needs of our clients. My goal was to consistently provide them with a level of support and customer service on which they could always rely.While I had enjoyed myself tremendously in this position, I came to realize it no longer offered me the challenges and rewards I desired, and that it was time to leave the “comfort zone” I had found myself in.

    During the years I worked for this company it was known as Andre’s FotoLab. When I first joined the company, we produced graphics the old-fashioned way - from transparencies and negatives. I learned digital imaging on the job as the industry evolved. As the company transitioned from traditional print to digital imaging, I had the privilege of spending 18 months at the lab’s San Diego location working directly with founder and owner Andre’ Schellenberg. I left Andre’s after my first child was born and worked as a Stay-at-Home parent until 1995 when Steve Michals, Prairie Display's co-owner (and my former Andre's co-worker) recruited me for his new company.
