Remember a time when you felt the desire to give back or to do something that contributes to a better world? That desire led me to volunteer to work with youth who found themselves in trouble with the law and turned into founding Justicewise, LLC.You see, as a volunteer and professional with a background in organization development and process excellence, my attention was drawn to inefficiencies and missing process steps that undermined potential for impact. This led me to question how communities, as a whole, deliver services intended to make our cities safer more prosperous beautiful places in which to conduct all aspects of our lives. After almost 10 years of working for both multinational corporations and local businesses, I know that process inefficiencies are best addressed by working with clients to draw out their expertise. In addition, working in global tech companies during the height of the digital revolution, I experienced first hand the powerful new tools and business models that are reshaping our world…tools that bridge the divide between shrinking budgets and increasing need.Now my company, Justicewise, works with a network of like-minded partners to help community leaders address complex social challenges that adversely affect community health - challenges like homelessness and conflicting economic demands. Justicewise uses a toolbox of familiar tools like strategic planning and good questions, as well as cutting-edge tools like the platforms and methods used by multinational corporations in their efforts to do more with less.
