In my role as Staff Specialist, I remain responsible for the continuity of resource planning that I had from my previous position.In this position, I mainly focus on providing support for the engineering department and designing and developing tools and (KPI) dashboards. Combined with my interest in analysing data and my department-oriented approach, I am able to create valuable customized solutions for management and our organization.I provide scenarios and analyze future capacity for both Dutch and foreign engineering departments by translating sales forecasts into realistic and visual work distribution. In this role, I was in charge of the resourceplanning and monitoring the current departmental capacity.I designed and developed a resource planning tool that combined all engineering schedules to provide insights into the total workload. The tool compared this workload with the available capacity across all disciplines. Using this tool, I advised management on the allocation of personnel capacity for ongoing projects and outsourcing of work packages, while maintaining contact with engineering agencies for hiring additional capacity. From this tool, I provided a complete picture from multiple angles, including resource schedules, occupancy overviews, organizational charts, and holiday schedules.For other departments such as the design and calculation department, project management department, Beaver engineering department and the engineering departments in Croatia and Slovakia, I have also successfully implemented the resource planning with this tool. Additional responsibilities:• Managed the IHC Reporter.• Provided assistance with project planning.• Generating (project) hourly reports from ERP for all stakeholders.• Designing and maintaining a planning tool for the Visualization department in Slovakia.
