About Gil Chen

Kids are the power of the future.As a big believer in people and charged with infinite optimism, I'm excited to continue my life journey and invest in what is most important - our future. More accurately - in our kids of all ages, the young generation that will pave the way to a magnificent future.After 25 years of great adventures and achievements in the software and manufacturing industries, leading robotics projects and supporting engineers worldwide, I started to be inspired by kids who I mentored while participating in various robotics competitions. It was a 13 yrs old kid who raised a crazy, but brilliant idea on how to solve a robotic challenge that shocked me, not the Audi Plant manager in Germany who I met during a visit to his factory! That was a true enlightening moment in which I realized that I can contribute so much to support our next generation and help kids dream big and eventually make them come true.During many years in the hitech industry I was enthusiastic about many projects I was involved with like the development of a new simulation concept for industrial robots, a robotic simulation for CNC machining and a cloud-based solution for production process planning, validation and optimization. Yes, it was wonderful to learn that GM, Chrysler, VW, Honda, Nissan and many others have improved their car automated manufacturing process by 15% thanks to our technology and support. But, I've found myself even more excited from mentoring kids, teaching math and robotics. This includes young students at their pre-academic studies. It was so satisfying and inspiring that I realized that I should "convert" and leverage my technologic experience to support kids.So instead of volunteering and investing only some time after work to do what I like the most, I now have the passion and time to do it as a full-time job. This is my endeavor; and even better - to invest in our social peripheral communities where my support is more significant.Life is a journey and I'm ready to continue it, curious about the adventures still ahead of me.Kid, you’ll move mountains!
