In addition to working as a flight instructor and giving local scenic air rides, I am doing occasional voice-over work for three broadcast clients and one local agency. I am also an FAA Certificated Flight Instructor with more than 7,500 total hours logged, and more than 3300 hours of dual instruction given, specializing in primary training in Cessna and Piper aircraft. I was longtime Beech Bonanza owner. I belong to the National Association of Flight Instructors, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Experimental Aircraft Association and Quiet Birdmen. I am a former USAF C-130E combat pilot with 70 missions in Vietnam, 1971-73.Specialties: Negotiated union contracts in three television markets with Teamsters and IBEW. Extensive experience with recruiting and hiring, and personal service contracts for on-air news employees. Commercial and promotional voice-over announcer. Significant experience in cross-country flying under Instrument Flight Rules. I like to train pilots how to fly in the real world with a common sense approach to how the system functions. In more than 23 years of training primary students, my success rate approaches 99% for students passing check rides on the first attempt.
