• Assessed/reviewed cases assigned to contact tracers while supporting case investigation and monitoring of all confirmed and presumptive cases reported to Prince George’s County.• Reconciled data in the National Electronic Disease Surveillance System (NEDSS) to assure data quality• Provided guidance to businesses on proper protocol for cleaning, managing ill staff members, and general COVID-19 questions

● Lead program outreach initiatives to reduce barriers related to accessing healthy and nutritious food within Prince George’s County to address four priority areas (Healthy Eating, Active Living, Diabetes, and Hypertension) through evidence-based environmental and systems prevention strategies while building traditional and non-traditional partnerships● Managed outreach via radio, print, and online ads and worked towards the expansion of model through capacity building with partner organizations including clinics, county government, elected officials, churches, Maryland State Department, local colleges and radio stations to help recruit participants into our diabetes classes.● Oversaw and managed aspects of the Health Department accreditation process including theattainment and maintenance of the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) certification.
