Immunologist with a passion for applicable discoveries and development and extensive hands on experience in various biological and immunological methods. I am currently lead allergy immunologist at Ukko where we develop novel immunotherapies for food sensitivities. At Ukko I establish and implement methods for drug candidate screening and development, participate in protein design processes, contribute to clinical strategizing and market research, procure and process clinical samples, oversee junior research associates, and provide materials and scientific support for regulatory submissions, investor engagements and scientific publication.Next to my current field of research, I am also continuously interested in cancer immunotherapy tumor microenvironments, mechanisms and metabolic links of neurodegeneration, biofuel development and cultured meat.
