My name is Gil Luque I'm a Visual Merchandiser/ Wardrobe Stylist. Iv'e Worked for various companies such as Charlotte Russe, Forever21, Nordstroms, Pink Ice, Love Story and Currently Fashion Nova. I've had over 10 years of retail experience. In that time, I've grown in my own Visual profession. Starting working for Charlotte Russe at a very young age. Not really knowing what Visuals were, I jumped in the opprotunity and proceeded to gain the knowlege in the Fashion/Visual World. With having no College backround just a Highschool Diploma and a great sense of fashion. Working hard and having to fend for myself, i worked full-time, 2 or more jobs to make it. In that proven time i have gotten great work opprotunities for my Fashion sense and to work Visually without a College backround (I feel very lucky and forturnate). I really proven my work to these companies over the last 10 years. Showing my true art and that you can be born with talent. The combination and experience was a perfect success to starting myself on a road for a future career in Visual Merchandising. After Charlotte Russe, i spread my wings and tried different growth opprotunities to help my resume and to grow as a person. I'm always seeking new adventures to improve my Visual techniques and experience is key. Every employer i had has giving me fuel to better myself and have given me different challenges. Retail is always fast paced and constantly changing, as should yourself. Life is about Passion and Fashion is my Passion, Visuals is just second nature to me. My current job Fashion Nova, i think is my biggest challage in the Visual Field. Creating Visuals out of my own concepts with no Visual structure from the company. I'm free to create a vision of my own imagination, durning buisness hours and assisting customers at the same time. Multitasking is crucial. I believe where there is a "Gil" there is a way. I have faith in my work, i know i can be the best i can be, i will just continue from here.

  * Visual Wall/Sales Floor Displays: (Details include) Creating my Own Personal Visual Concepts/Color Schemes for the Store Walls and Sales Floor. Merchandising the Store Daily/Making the Store Visually Beautiful and Appealing for the Customers and the Company. *Widow Mannequin Displays: Weekly window wardrobe changes./Sometimes daily. Choosing outfits for mannequins undressing and dressing prop displays. Wardrobe changes must be done fast, quick but eye catching. Displays must be as a family (similar colors, fabrics but different styles to show current apparel) to make sense to customers to attractand and help sell merchandise. Window maintance (Duties) Cleaning windows, sweeping inside the window, dusting ,windex spoting, mirrors/glass and to prep mannequins. Making sure windows are fully cleaned and prepped and ready to show. *Front Desk Cashier: Duties :Customer Service, Assisting the customer making sure they are satisfied before closing the deal, CashHandling ,Greeting Customer, Answering Phone Calls, Transfers, Online Orders, Online Requests , Hipchat-(contacting other locations), Censoring and UnCensoring Merchandise, Permote deals and the Company.*Merchandise Preparation/Stock: Restocking merch, Replenish Store, Censor New Merchandise,
