* Frontend firmware development of LGE Blue Ray player using Broadcom chip. - Full on site support to develop several BD players in LGE. - Managed Frontend related issues including backend communication issues. - Main interface between USA design center and LG Electronics. - Co-working with OPU maker to fix several issues caused by OPU. - Checking the Viterbi block and DFE channel to improve the disc playability. - Checking Hardware gain of all servo parts. - Tunning the tracking/Focus EQ of CD/DVD/BD disc using simulation tool. - Checking APC loop response, overshoot, rising time, etc. - Follow-up Mass Production issues.

* Frontend firmware development of Samsung and DAT Audio DVD player using ESS chip. - Full on site support to develop several DVD players in Samsung. - Developed DVD frontend firmware by tuning ABEX disc, Marginal loader, QA user disc. - Adding new study function to improve the playability using the built-in Jitter meter. - Supporting Reliability test for playability improvement at extreme environment condition. - Co-worked with OPU maker for developing the new Rolling Pick-up - Follow-up Mass Production issues.

* Frontend firmware development of Sony combo DVD player using Panasonic one chip. - Full on site support in Samsung. - Main interface between Japen design center and local customer in terms of frontend part. - Changing Drive-IC one chip solution from two chip solution. - Tuning Focus/Tracking servo EQ using CSA. - Stabilized the playability checking Marginal loader. - Countermeasure for the reliability test - Follow-up Mass production issues of frontend part.* Supporting HDMI board design and HDMI compliance test - Improved playability by adding damping resistor at the HDMI data line. - Changing Pull-up resistor value to pass DDC/CEC capacitance test. - Supporting the EYE pattern diagram test(Varistor + Common mode filter).
