Entomology for pest control students

My experience covers several biological subjects. During my studies in the Department of Life Sciences in Ben-Gurion University I specialized in evolutionary ecology and numerous entomological subjects. These days I am one of the top mosquito experts in Israel. I organized and participated in many research studies regarding mosquitoes, temporary pool community and on other terrestrial insects as well. My experience inckudes entomological consultation to commercial and government companies and to government ministriesMy teaching experience can be attributed to years of guiding in the Israeli Society for Nature Protection, during my military service and the different academic positions I held. Among the academic courses I guided were introduction to zoology, cellular biology, introduction to ecology, entomology, hydrobiology, conservation ecology and more. In the Israeli Society for Nature Protection I guided adolescents in navigating circles.During the years 1994-1997 I was research assistance and the staff director in the institute for Biological Control in the Negev. During these year I participated in several studies such as an Israeli-American-Jordanian- Palestinian joint project (research budget of 4 million US$) regarding the dynamic of flies and mosquitoes in the Southern Dead Sea basin. Since then and until these days, I participated in many studies, academic and non-academic for commercial companies and the government. I got awards for excellence research studies on 3 separated occasions, after presenting my study in scientific conferences of the Israel Society of Ecology and Environmental Sciences and the Association for Zoology in Israel.

Introducing black soldier fly as animal feed (source for protein and fat)

Mosquito expert. Albo Systems develops a novel monitoring technique for mosquito breeding sites.

Co-owner in Eco-Domen. Eco-Domen work with black soldier fly larvae to treat organic waste and using the larvae as animal feed.

Co-owner. We develop a novel mosquito trap for adult biting mosquitoes. Trap has past the POC demonstrating high level of mosquito mortality. Trap is accepted to attract and kill most blood biting arthropod pests.
