Gilad Bar is a graphic and type designer based in Tel Aviv, Israel.With a solid foundation in Visual Communication, Gilad has developed a profound passion for typography. In 2021, he founded his design practice - Do-Not-Boil, A place where he can experiment with creating new typefaces. Gilad channels his expertise into crafting innovative and impactful typefaces. His fascination with letterforms and typographic expression drives him to create fonts that not only convey information but also evoke emotion and captivate audiences.During His bachelor’s education in visual communication, he discovered that he got a lot of satisfaction out of creative thinking and conceptually approaching different design issues. In addition to his design work, Gilad is deeply interested in exploring the intersection of culture, technology, and creativity. Gilad has a keen interest in seeking inspiration from a variety of sources. Ranging from international cinema and literature to classical elements like theater and live performances. This eclectic mix of influences informs his design philosophy and adds depth to his creative process.
