Lance was a fintech startup I co-founded that aimed to provide banking services for freelancers and self-employed individuals. It offered features like automated tax payments, retirement savings, and transferring salary to personal accounts. Unfortunately, Lance struggled with high customer acquisition costs and low customer lifetime value due to fraud and low subscription conversion rates from the free tier. But there was a silver lining! User feedback from Lance helped us validate the idea for Sequence, inspiring us to pivot and begin developing Sequence's financial automation platform.After we recognized Lance's business model challenges, we surveyed existing users. Many of them expressed interest in a "money router" to connect various financial accounts. This feedback inspired the idea for Sequence. To validate demand for the "money router" idea, we created various landing pages describing the concept and offering lifetime access for $200. Despite initial skepticism, more than 100 people paid the $200 within 5 days (without even having a product built yet!) With high early interest, the idea of helping people visualize and automate their money became our priority. We shut down Lance and established Sequence as a financial automation and money routing platform.

I served as Director of Economic Development at Tel Aviv Global, a municipal initiative aimed at positioning Tel Aviv as a global city with significant economic and cultural importance.I oversaw the cultivation and promotion of Tel Aviv's startup ecosystem as a global center of innovation & entrepreneurshipSome of my key responsibilities included city-to-city collaborations, attracting foreign investment, supporting municipal hubs and accelerators, facilitating the building of R&D centers in Tel Aviv by foreign governments and multinational companies, and assisting in refining and implementing the strategic vision for the future of Tel Aviv as a smart city.

Mekomy.com (no longer active) was a marketplace for off-the-beaten-path tours and activities. We connected travelers with local, like-minded guides to ensure a unique and memorable experience. At our peak, we had local offices in three countries. I founded the company, taking the idea from zero to one. I also built and managed our team of 8, raised a substantial seed round, managed the company’s web and mobile products and spearheaded international growth.

My wife and I established VillaItalia in 2008 to provide an authentic experience to tourists visiting Italy. We started with two locations and quickly expanded to offer an exclusive selection of villas, farms, and unique castles, chosen through careful research of Italy's most attractive regions. Our team was dedicated to finding exclusive properties for our clients’ stays, for a week or longer. We went beyond just providing a place to stay; we helped plan the entire trip. Our "traveler's toolkit" included recommendations for excursions, bike rides, restaurants, wine tastings—everything needed to enjoy Italy to the fullest.We took great pride in our unique range of properties, unbroken commitment to quality, and excellent customer service as we provided our clients with an authentic local experience in Italy.
