Gilad Co-Founded Credium, a decentralized platform designed to for the global credit industry, leveraging blockchain technology to drive efficiency and transparency to post origination processes in the $18T credit market. Prior to establishing Credium, Gilad co-founded Backed Inc. in Early 2015 with the mission to make Credit accessible to "thin-filed" borrowers in the US, who are penalized with high interest rates by traditional credit models, just for having a short credit history. Before starting Backed, he joined the Ethereum project in early 2014 and established the Israeli Ethereum meet-up group, which is involved in research and development of the Ethereum Decentralized Apps eco-system. Back in 2010 Gilad Co-Founded iAlbums, a semantic curation engine for media players after teaching and leading research groups in the Royal Academy of The Netherlands, where he obtained his MA in art sciences and later in the institute of Harvestworks in NYC. He has also served as an entrepreneur in residence at Cyhawk ventures, where he developed consumer facing products for the ad-tech industry. Gilad is a Skilled Product Management professional, with over 10 experience in product design and execution, with focusing on bridging the gap between complex systems and intuitive user interfaces. Beyond product specification and management, Gilad has a deep technological understanding of mathematical transformations, advanced signal & system theories and parameter extraction techniques, Fourier analysis, machine-learning, algorithmic synthesis and high-level computer programming.
