Gilana Chelimsky is a Librarian at JFK Middle School at JFK Middle School. She possess expertise in information literacy, library, cataloging, distance learning. She did an excellent job demonstrating library resources to students who approached the desk, and communicated clearly and effectively with a diverse range of library patrons. She has the technical knowledge to quickly learn new tools and interfaces, as well as having the strong academic background to handle reference questions in a range of subject areas. As she has moved on from her internship to provide technical assistance in the library's Collaborative Learning Room, she has continued to provide Reference help on weekends when there are no other librarians available.
