Research on physical and mathematical modeling applied to the fluid dynamics of a muti-phase system (metal-slag-inclusions interactions) in a tundish of slab continuous casting during transient events, such as: tundish drainage, filling and refilling.

Professional in charge for plan, organize, and conduct comprehensive researches for hot rolled steel plates. This position is also responsible for:- steel design according to a broad range of product / final use requirements, like mechanical and metallurgical properties;- design a proper process to comply with all product requirements, as well as, carry out experiences in trial lots at secondary refining, continuous casting and rolling mill;- Advising on mechanical and metallurgical tests at company laboratories.

Responsible for people and process management, such as:- Market demand management (domestic & abroad) of stainless and electrical steels, as well as, plain carbon steels;- Mass balance calculation, production and consumption budget of production facilities, such as: ironmaking, steelmaking and rolling mills;- Lead department staff to drawn particular production planning scenarios and production improvement studies;- Production KPI, customer order & WIP management;- Management and review material shortages, stock outages, and safety stock levels since blast furnace until cold rolling shear lines;- MILESTONE: Improvement in service level: from 70% to 82% in OTIF index

- Responsible to ensure a smooth operation throughout the steelworks: order management, production debottlenecking and WIP management;- Lead Production Planning & Scheduling Department staff to support steelworks leader team during start-up;- Coordinate production meeting with plant representatives, in order to establish the main actions to be done for achieving production goals;- Lead Department staff to plan raw material consumption and review new material BOMs (focusing on special ferroalloys);MILESTONES: - Ironmaking/Steelmaking Production Planning and Scheduling Concept, Design and Successful Start up; - Production Control Room Successful Commissioning;

Products Development Engineer working focused on development of steel grades for continuous cast slabs, such as: LCAK alloyed grades for general and automotive structures; fully killed peritetic alloyed and medium carbon alloyed grades for API grades up to X70 and ULC grades (IF and BH) Main duties for this position:- Advise on Production Process: suggest process improvements throughout steelmaking and casting processes, in order to bring better productivity, product quality and yield enhancement;- Conduct test protocols, experimental procedures, and product evaluation (dimensional, surface and internal quality) for experimental trial lots, as well as, following up product performance at key customers plants;MILESTONES:- 11 steel grades were successfully released for several final uses, including: auto structural parts, vehicle exposed parts, shipbuilding and pipelines- Reduction of slab surface crack index, in several steel grades, due to a new cooling process design which brings a steady casting process;

Customer Services Engineer working focused on customer technical relationship.Engineer responsible for dealing with technical inquiries based on customer specification, always considering plant technical viability, including some estimation of production cost. I have worked closely to customers and their businesses in order to understand their processes, to provide technical expertise and customized solutions.Activities performed on this position:- Attend meeting with customers in order to discuss their requirements and complaints.- Technical analysis of customer standards and their specification as well as, international standards such as DIN, JIS, ASTM, ISO and etc.- Advising on some tests in the physical and metallurgical labs, such as: Metallography; Failure analysis; Ultrasonic test on heavy plates and profiling slabs; Charpy Impact test and Tension test in off-shore steel grades.- MILESTONE: Successful customer relationship within Slab Continuous Casting Project and trial lots periods.
