Work involved investigating numerical solvers and conservation laws (Partial Differential Equations) and training models to generate optimal policies in a Deep-RL framework, FLOW.

PI - Prof. Alexander SkabardonisResearch focussed on development, analysis, and implementation of microscopic traffic simulation models(in Aimsun) that are focused on connected and autonomous vehicle technology and traffic lights.I optimized car-following, sensitivity and dynamic lane allocation strategies for CAVs using API’s in C/C++ and Python.

E98, a 1-unit ‘Intro to Engineering’ course taught by UC Berkeley engineering upperclassmen. As a co-instructor, my goals were aimed at guiding and peer-mentoring first-year engineering students at UC Berkeley.

Worked with the Geo and Spacetime simulation team in the Research and Machine Intelligence group with the mission of developing high-accuracy global transportation simulators and use them to improve transportation outcomes for Google Maps - using deep reinforcement learning.

Work involved exploring Data Science and Software Development tools.Created Data Management solutions automating big-data organization, helping drive the Digital Analytics business consulting venture. I engaged in Project Management responsibilities by helping to maintain databases for asset management data for utility clients such as PG&E.Work involved developing automation scripts and algorithms for apps to organize large data, and managing SQL servers hosting the client data. The work largely involved using the Panda library and Data Science modules in Python. Assisted in preparing bidding proposals; performed cost estimation for building demolitions and renovations for pharmaceutical clients, oil and gas clients etc.

Competitively selected into UC Berkeley Fellowship aimed at addressing public health challenges through digital technology innovations in partnership with industry and community. The Fellowship utilizes human-centred design methods, research, and emerging technology, such as AI, VR, and machine learning, in the development of social impact projects.

-Directly assisted Construction Manager and helped coordinate workers in the construction of a 2-story Thrift Store, playhouses and a 2-story duplex.-Gained experience in Residential Construction while supervising teams of construction workers in the design and usage of timber, insulation, drywall, texturing, framing, roofing, siding, painting and many other construction operations.

-Trained in Asphalt Core cutting and in preparation of numerous pavement specimen for laboratory Stress, Strain and Shear tests for Mechanistic-Empirical Design research. -Prepared and calibrated models with field data for sensitivity analyses and tools aimed to identify construction quality. Utilized the laboratory Specimen Ovens and Compactors.

PI - Prof. Evan Variano Post Doc– Nimish Pujara Ph.D.Took part in a project aimed at finding the relationship between the rotation of particles and their shapes during turbulence.- Helped in preparing special and delicate gel particles of different dimensions and shapes for analysis in a Turbulence tank and Laser Beam Machine- Worked with a team to analyze and combat various challenges in the delicate chemical mixtures and preparation of the particles.- Improvised mixtures with addition of glitter for a visible analysis of the particles’ velocities by the Laser Beam Machine.

American-style library and one-stop for students interested in studying in the US and attain advice on the application process.- Compiled scholarship information and developed handouts and educational advising resources. - Advised and informed students as a peer mentor and the public about educational opportunities in the U.S.- Reviewed Student Applications and conducted interviews for the program and its Opportunity Fund Award.
