Joined Waste Management as a Ops Management Trainee and over the last 15 years have been promoted two times to Route Manager and now a On-Boarding Training Manager in the Greater Los Angeles area. Some of my duties include but are not limited to; Direct supervision of 40+ full-time employees, Organizing and scheduling all necessary resources required to accomplish activities such as, productivity, efficiency, and improvement of services and safety for external clients and internal staff. Monitor driver and laborer time and attendance, minimizing overtime, Review route operations on a daily basis and preform "Root Cause Investigations" for all injuries, accidents, and/or incidents to meet/exceed local, state, and federal laws.

Direct oversight of dispatcher/routers, service technicians, pick up & delivery drivers, yard personnel, fence crew(s) and shop. Review of all paperwork including manifests, routing tickets, DVIR's, etc. for completion and accuracy. Monitor all service levels and deliveries to ensure the best efficiencies. Recommend measures to improve operational practices and quality of customer care. Work directly with other departments to ensure excellent/positive communication within region. Work with various departments to resolve customer service & delivery issues. Work with Operations Managers at other branches to coordinate asset transfers. Maintain proper staffing levels to meet and exceed customer and branch needs.
