About Gilbert Harrison

As a sole family caregiver to two family members for many years, I learned the importance of learning all I could about their illnesses, medical treatments, time management, and when to ask for help when needed. This sparked my interest in serving as a hospital volunteer, primarily involved in helping those patients who lack family support while hospitalized and supporting other family caregivers who feel overwhelmed sometimes. If I could start all over again, I would choose a career in healthcare.
