I got an opportunity to work with the City of Toronto as a Ballot Officer during the June and October 2022 Municipal Elections in the City. This milestone helped me gather experience in the Toronto and Canadian elections at large. I got to meet new people whom I talked to which helped me develop my Customer service skills and Communication skills. This was a great achievement which also helped me to widen my network and help my community in general.

During the internship time, I worked in various roles with in the Policy and Planning Department but I was mainly working in the Finance Section in this Department. In the roles I did would include; generating online spreadsheets for compiling the financial department reports. Bu I did this with the help of the Finance team which guided me throughout the role. I also supported the customer service team in responding to phone calls.
