Construction Mechanical Specialist & Preconstruction DirectorI am a OUT-OF-THE-BOX, HARDWORKING, RESULTS-ORIENTED MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION SPECIALIST with 28 years of experience in precon and the field. I have worked in a variety of markets from pharmaceuticals, health science, institutional, hospitality & commercial. My career focus the past 10 years has been healthcare with more than $2.546 billion & 7,884K GSF of projects, working with delivery methods from design build, IPD & CMR. I spent the last 13 years as a Mechanical Preconstruction Director (at times MEP) in the CM role, providing services that include budgeting, estimating, constructability reviews, cost optimizations, cost savings, system evaluations & selection, LEED analysis, subcontractor selection, contract negotiations & coordinating MEP systems. I have worked close with many Mechanical Contractors on design build & design assist projects to assure goals are achieved. I have also been full time in the field as a MEP project manager on key projects. 15 years prior to that was spent with mechanical contractors working as an estimator, chief estimator and as vice president of preconstruction. I was responsible for estimating, business development, customer relations, purchasing and operations support. I am a team player who meets challenges head-on, finds problems and then heads them off at the pass. I enjoy bringing people together and initiating creative solutions to complex problems. I am at my best when turning bad situations around for the good, and have developed my ability to build strong relationships with diverse groups over the years.
