Gilbert Mbewe is Manager Contracts and Procurement Audit at Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA). ZPPA is an independent regulatory body responsible for regulation, standard setting, compliance monitoring, professional development, information management and dissemination in public procurement. He is responsible for supervising and evaluating contracts and procurement audit staff.With over 24 years in public procurement, Gilbert has experience in management consultation, team building and professional development. He has also worked at the Ministry of Lands and State House in Lusaka. Gilbert earned an MBA from the Copperbelt University and a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) with Education degree from the University of Zambia. He also holds a Graduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.
