Dr. Gil's life journey has brought him to a place where he can effectively pursue several passions simultaneously. (New addition 10/2014 Ebola Activist, www.survivingebola.org )His love of medicine and healing could not be me more rewarding as a Board Certified Residency trained Emergency Trauma Physician. Dr. Gil Mobley directs a private free standing emergency center in Springfield Missouri. Dr. Gil's caters specifically to work place injuries and the exclusive practice of occupational medicine. The clinic has a staff of 15 (+) employees who are more like family, with some having longevity and dedication as long as fifteen years.A large part of what Dr. Gil's does is assist client companies in development and implementation of drug screen workplace programs, with cutting edge policies that screen for impairment, and not lifestyle. Dr. Gil has challenged conventional thinking, he has testified at three State Legislatures, advocating the rights of medical marijuana patients as well as full legalization. In a twist of irony, Dr. Gil lead opposition in Washington State against the legalization of cannabis, citing it's unscientific DUI provisions and lack of funding for stringent deterrent programs for the youth. Finally, his medical career has allowed Dr. Gil to live a dream by devoting his free-time, energy and resources to serve a Mayan village on a high altitude volcanic lake in Guatemala. Over the decades, he has hosted hundreds of people and doctors on one week adventure service vacations to Guatemala.
