I am a former Correctional LT for the Wyoming Dept. of Corrections. I worked at a minimum facility that also houses a bootcamp for first time offenders. I am currently the training coordinator that is in charge of all staff training, meeting ACA, state and other standards. I am also the facility fire/safety officer, disciplinary hearing officer, industry supervisor, intake coordinator and part of the states corrections training advisory committee. I fill in as a shift commander when needed, responsible for the daily operations of the facility. I served as the Vice President of the Western Correctional Association which represents the western portion of the United States. I served the Wyoming Criminal Justice Association as president. I helped set up the annual conference, assist with lining up speakers, putting together a newsletter and other duties responsible for putting together a successful conference. I also have overseen the beginning of a scholarship program and quarterly training that we sponsor as well. I have presented at our annual conference and have conducted training's for WCJA many times.I have done public speaking and teaching. I have presented at conferences and seek to share my knowledge at other conferences, trainings etc. I have presentations on manipulation, effective supervision, communication, organizational change, use of force, universal precautions, blood borne pathogens, emergency response, escape procedures etc. I am also a certified CPR/First Aid and AED Instructor.I have 17 years experience as a first responder and volunteer fireman with the Newcastle Vol. Fire Dept and the Weston County Fire Protection District. I have served as high as the rank of Captain and I have served as the Treasurer of the fire dept. I also served on the executive board and recently became the PIO for our department.

Supervised and booked in inmates. Assured inmates had medication, proper care, food and quality of life was sufficient.
