In charge of coordinating pharmaceutical operations in Busia region .Support supervision to over 400 community health workers in Teso north ,Nambale and Matayos.In charge of quality control in the region.I do a monthly capacity-building session for the Community Health Workers.I work very closely with the community strategy focal persons, Sub-county pharmacists, and Malaria coordinators in the three sub-counties that I support in ensuring that there is a smooth and uninterrupted supply of essential commodities to the community health workers.Other responsibilities include:➢ Advocacy-by working very closely with the sub-county community strategy focal persons and sub-county pharmacist to ensure all the CHVs receive essential commodities on time and do not run out for them to do efficient Integrated community case management.➢ Field support supervision to the CHWs on quality checks and general performances.➢ Monthly Capacity building to branch staff (CME)and community health volunteers (CHVs)on ICCM protocols.➢ Inventory control management-supply chain system.➢ Part of Quality Improvement committee.➢ Support SCHMT( sub-county health management team) in Community Health strategy implementation.➢ Community Health awareness and education on COVID-19 vaccination and prevention measures. ➢ Ensuring the two-way referral system is working rapidly when the community health workers refer a client to the facility and back to the community.➢ MNCH implementation through Rapid Result Initiative.➢ Quarterly and monthly data review meetings with the MOH to analyze performance per quarter..➢ PSBI support- Pioneered in implementation and roll-out of possible serious bacterial infections in Busia County.➢Telemedicine- with the help of telehealth I have championed the r of telehealth in Teso North sub-county to ensure easy and affordable access to health by use of telecommunications.ollout

I worked with Afya Uzazi moded in partnership with USAID introduction of the ICCM model to the sub-county ( Kuresoi) working with over 200 Community Health Workers.I oversaw the RRI ( Rapid Response Initiative ) where we worked with the community health workers in ensuring all pregnant mothers between period 2018 and 2019 delivered at the health facilities and the eventual reduction of unskilled birth deliveries in the community.Supported WASH initiative around Kuresoi South.

I was in charge of inventory control management at the in-patient department coordinating all pharmaceutical operations including ordering, record keeping stock take, and general supply chain management at Tenwek inpatient pharmacy.➢ In charge of the in-patient pharmacy and its daily pharmaceutical operations. ➢ Inventory control- Procuring of pharmaceuticals, record keeping and monthly report writing on the consumption rates per commodities: ➢ Handling of prescriptions -Reading, packaging, and dispensing of medicine. ➢ CMEs training of other departmental staff. ➢ ART commodity management.➢ Conducted quality control and compliance adherence inspections in the hospital pharmacies.➢ Participated in County health awareness sessions and other health events.➢ Maintained good community relationships in service delivery.➢ Preparation of therapeutic extemporaneous preparations.
