A/V- Data/Telecomm Technician – University of the Incarnate WordProvide daily managerial support for the operation of the UIW Media Center and coordinate deliveries of audiovisual services to classrooms. Set-up, operate, break down and troubleshoot all equipment, devices, and systems. Install Low-Voltage Multimedia System including LCD Projectors, Audio Systems, Control systems, Plasmas and LCD monitors, teleconferencing equipment, pull and terminate cat5e, cat6, coax, 66 phone block, single and multimode fiber.. Troubleshoot audiovisual equipment; Train student workers in the operation and troubleshooting of classroom and Media Center technologies. Train end user in the operation of classroom technologies and video teleconference equipment. Was a Liaison between vendors, contractors and the UIW.
