• Assist residents with their long term settlement needs with a particular focus on accommodation search - compile/update database of available apartment units• Assess suitability and liaise/arrange with landlords viewing appointments and accompanying clients• Conduct orientation classes on such topics as housing rights and obligations • Research resources to support refugee claimant's settlement needs including referrals to counselling and other relevant services Prepare various documents including referral letters, e-mails and various forms Answer telephone calls, relaying messages and handling queries• Help clients to complete PR, work permit forms with finding support for PR application fees, claim appeals etc.• Assist with front-line activities as needed • Update client information in files and data base files as required • Ensure that meals are served and that house is kept in order and chores are completed by residents• Attend weekly staff meetings as required  Perform other duties as required
