In my 3 years service with AECOM, I was in charge of all the proposals to the clients for the Project and Construction Management consultancy services in Thailand and it neighboring countries. I have successfully secured the following contracts with the big foreign companies in Thailand like the Big C Supermarket, BMW Manufacturing, Tokyo Corporation/Saha Pattana JV, Mercure hotel chain, a Singapore owned International school and a rich Thai personal residence condominium. All the projects were completed on time, within the budget and to the complete satisfaction of the client.The services provided by us were the design management services, monitoring and steering the necessary approvals from all relevant parties, preparation and continuous monitoring of the Master Program, set up cost control and continuous update on the cost plan and cash flow plan, develop a procurement plan, organize the tender procurement for the consultants, cont4actors and suppliers. During the construction stage, monitor,control and supervise the site work to ensure that it comply with the design intent, specification and the quality standard required until the commissioning and handover of the project to the client. Our work also involved the keeping of all records and contract control to protect the client against claims from all third parties.

As a Project Director I was responsible for the successful tender, construction and handover of all the projects of the company. Under my charge I have completed successfully the construction of the MarinaBay Fire station and MOE's Malay Language Education Centre in Bishan with more than the expected profit.

My main contribution after joining the company was to re-organize the work and reclaimed back the reputation of the company as a competent and professional RC and post tension sub-contractor in Qatar. The company is now the most preferred sub-contractor of the big projects in Doha; Qatar. We have successfully completed the work to Sidra Hospital and 3 landmark condominium projects in Qatar.

I was the Client's Project Manager tasked to build the 6- stars TRISARA hotel villas and Phase C high end residential villas development in Phuket; Thailand. These villas have to be completed and ready for occupation within a span of 8 months. These villas must be built during restricted working hours and under tightly controlled environment to ensure that the hotel guests are not disturbed by the construction noise. These projects were completed on time with a saving of 20% on the budget.

I was the Procurement Manager for the joint venture between Kajima Corporation and the local partners to build the Taiwan High Speed Rail maintenance depot in Taichung; Taiwan. After the procurement packages were awarded, I was then given the additional role to assist the construction works as the deputy Construction Manager.

I was the project manager for the client to build a large multi stories heavy industrial workshops, warehouse, offices and office amenities over a 24 hectares of land within the declared water catchment area surrounded by residential sites.

I built the Salvation Army Head Office in Bukit Timah Road, a four storey building with 2 basements against an 8 meter high vertical earth embankment.

I was the Owner's representative in China whose scope involved all aspect of the construction process from the conceptual design, procurement, supervision and all relevant approvals and document until the successful opening of the hotel.

I was the client Project Manager to build the Galaxy Mall in Surabaya. My work involved the procurement of the whole design and construction team and was involved from the conceptual design stage right up to the opening of the Mall.

Working with the president and the senior management team of the company, I was responsible to overseas all the projects' problems specifically in the area of organization, cash flow, contract and technical improvement in the construction methods.

I was the Singapore's resident representative of Far East Organisation in the joint venture in Thailand for the longest shopping mall in Asia (at that time) in Bangkok, The Royal City Avenue (RCA) in Rama 9 Road.

I am the Project Manager of the contractor who built the following projects with value from S$10m to S$ 200m. The projects were: Marco Polo Hotel extension, C&E Orchid (Mid Point Orchard), CIAS In flight kitchen at Changi Airpoort, SCOTTS's Ascot executive apartment, STC Building in Lim Teck Kim Road and CAAS Third cargo agent complex in Changi.
