Historic mitigation resists/prevents customers from using more data. Flipped-the-script to give all customers the ability to watch unlimited HD, 4K and 8K streaming video while increasing the usable satellite capacity and supporting growth in usage demand (making satellite-delivered internet relevant) for years to come. Established partnerships with the world’s largest streaming media services, created new standards and apps, cloud and edge systems, and leveraged new AI and ML approaches to dramatically improve Quality of Experience (QoE), paving a path for streaming video across previously unaddressable global markets representing billions of users. •Designed scalable strategy to address the top two drivers of poor customer experiences on GEO satellites: (1) high latency (>600ms) and (2) weather-influenced reliability issues. Solved by inventing a new application using SD-WAN that cost <1% of the capital vs. launching a new LEO satellite network (a popular alternative), delivering a cable-like internet service anywhere in the U.S. Expanded addressable market by 5X to 10X and increased sellable satellite capacity by double, while improving customer happiness and retention – nearly 50% improvement to the NPV of a satellite network. Required novel traffic engineering approaches using new AI and ML techniques, influencing third parties to reimagine their models, and relentless hypothesis testing to gain quick momentum and capital funding. -

Grew U.S. consumer revenue from $250MM to $600MM. Launched first B2B/SMB product/service line. Owner of all subscriptions, packaging, and pricing for service plans, add-ons, and value-added services. •Identified and remedied the most critical problem with residential satellite product: bandwidth usage utility. Using modern research, design, and experimentation, discovered value of meeting/exceeding organic customer usage demand. Designed a system to modify offers, pricing, margins, and bandwidth to continually deliver more to customers, while extracting improved margins for the business. This approach resulted in 18+ consecutive quarters of revenue, ARPU and margin growth, leading the satellite industry. •Challenged satellite internet performance limitations by delivering products and experiences that previously “couldn’t be done” using satellite technology.
