As a dedicated student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I am deeply committed to making a positive impact in the healthcare industry. My journey began at Appalachian State University, where I collaborated with faculty and peers at the Beaver College of Health Sciences. There, I co-founded a student-run publication with the App State Public Health Club, delivering timely health-related news and enhancing my communication and leadership skills. This initiative led to my selection for a hiring board position by the College's faculty, recognizing my contributions and leadership.At UNC-CH, I have continued to pursue my passion for healthcare while embracing new opportunities. As a full-time student, I have leveraged my love for food by networking within my community to serve as a Personal Chef for multiple clients. In the academic arena, I actively engage with my peers and professors, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Recently, I joined the Journal of Foreign Affairs at Carolina as a Staff Editor, where I contribute to editorial work and expand my analytical skills.This summer, I am honored to intern with the ncIMPACT Initiative, working closely with the Carolina Across 100 team. This experience has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to apply my skills in a professional setting and contribute to meaningful projects. I am excited to see what the rest of the summer holds and am eager to continue my journey in the healthcare field.
