Gil has more than 30 years of career experience as a Certified Public Accountant. He joined Arthur Andersen (Merged in Mexico with Deloitte & Touche Thomatsu - “Deloitte” in September 2002) in 1992 to the External Audit service line. In March 1996 was promoted to Top-Senior Audit position and later on was promoted to Manager in 1998. At the end of that year he became a member of the team that started the Risk Consulting service line at Monterrey (Internal Audit). Gil was promoted to Senior Manager in August 2003.During May 2004 he joined the Finance Division Team of Home Depot México and he had an important participation in the acquisition of Home Mart as the Senior Manager of the controlling function.On November 2005, he returned to Deloitte to the Consulting Division (specifically Enterprise Risk Services Division) as a Consulting/Internal Audit Director.On October 2010, he incorporated as Director Global Audit Americas to lead the Internal Audit Operation of Heineken Mexico - Cuauhtemoc Moctezuma and other Operational Companies from Heineken in the Americas Region. Gil left Heineken Mexico mid 2015 and decided to continue his career as an Independent CPA in the local Firm his father founded in 1992, providing Assurance and Internal Audit Services in Ancer y Asociados, S.C. (member Firm of AnPer).On May 15, 2017 Gil accepted a new position to lead the Governance and Compliance Global Department at Nemak, based in Monterrey Area and lately he left this Company end of summer of 2018.Currently Gil is leading an Audit Firm (Ancer y Asociados) with operations in Monterrey, and he has since September 2022 a leading role as Corporate Director Audit and Ethics at Grupo Diagnostico Medico Proa (Chopo Laboratories) based in Mexico City.
