Served as Course Coordinator for the Summer Venture Lab at the Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology (SCET) at UC Berkeley. In this role, I assisted 10 student-led startups on their journey to achieving product-market fit and customer discovery, guiding them as they navigate the exciting and challenging world of technology entrepreneurship.

As a Data Scientist at Allie Cobranza Especializada, a Mexican company that helps state and municipal governments optimize property tax collection, I was responsible for providing data-driven insights to support decision-making and improve performance. More specifically:- Developed and maintained databases for efficient data storage and analysis.- Implemented and executed a cloud-based data analysis platform that employed advanced analytical techniques to process a comprehensive dataset of 312.7K individual debtors, with a total debt of ~$76M.- Targeted collection strategies were implemented on 246.6K homeowners, resulting in the successful recollection of $19.3M in property taxes. Utilizing geospatial analysis methods, the generation of 24.9K accurate street addresses from partial information was accomplished.- Developed dashboards and reports to communicate findings to government officials and stakeholders.- Collaborated with cross-functional teams to design and implement web-scraping and data-collection software resulting in cost savings of $1.5 million annually for the company.- Utilized Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to enable the identification of poorly registered homes, resulting in an expansion of the total addressable market by over 11%.The implementation of these strategies led to a significant improvement in the collection success rate of the company's primary client, increasing from 37% to 67%. Additionally, the payment data processing workflow was expedited by a factor of 7x, enabling the company to effectively service a larger debtor base. Insights and recommendations on collection logistics, payment infrastructure, and database management were provided to government officials to support decision-making and drive performance improvements.

As a Data Scientist at Matter Inc, a social media startup that aims to immortalize your loved ones, I was responsible for utilizing data science techniques to drive product development and improve user engagement. My role involved working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and develop data-driven solutions.

As a consultant for a real estate and vacation rental company in Mexico, executed a comprehensive data analysis project spanning a duration of two months. The project entailed conducting a thorough examination of the business, identifying potential growth opportunities, devising strategic marketing plans, performing an in-depth analysis of the competition and evaluating key performance indicators. The data visualizations developed as a result of the analysis were designed to be intuitive, visually striking, and easily navigable. Utilizing existing data, the project aimed to automate routine data collection tasks and eliminate errors, resulting in a surplus of data that enabled informed decision-making and a deeper understanding of the market landscape. The analysis provided valuable insights into audience preferences, revenue streams, and market dynamics, and served as a crucial tool for driving business growth. The project exhibited a high level of proficiency in data analysis, market research, strategic thinking, and data visualization.

Founded Ekayári, a company whose sole purpose is to provide help to the indigenous communities in Morelia, Mexico by mixing their traditional art with modern commodities. We have created hundreds of iPhone cases covered with Huichol art and sold them all around Mexico City and abroad. Following the Huichol principle, each case is handmade with a unique pattern, allowing the consumer to manifest this beautiful tradition everywhere they go.

Planned and executed monthly social events for more than 800 people and employed around 50 people per event. In charge of budget management and sponsorship outreach.
