Investment Banking, Mexico City (2003-2011):Vice-President and Executive Director.Successfully managed the Investment Banking Department in Mexico, contributing to its leading position. Managed JPMorgan's relationships with key corporate and Mexican Government clients. Participated in some of Mexico's largest Investment Banking transactions.Energy Investment Banking- Latin America, New York (1997-2002):Associate and Vice-PresidentFocused mainly on M&A, Project Finance and bank financing transactions for power and oil & gas clients in Latin America.Executed Mexico's three largest M&A transactions in the power sector, participated as sell-side advisor of ING Mexico in its US$1.5 bn insurance business divestiture to AXA. Successfully executed defense advisory transactions, provided fairness and valuation opinions, and participated in power, oil & gas, water utilities, infrastructure, media, and financial institutions sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions in Latin America. Executed the US$1.8 bn IPO of Fresnillo on the London Stock Exchange and a US$215 mm equity follow-on offering for ASUR. Participated in more than US$11 bn of international and local Mexico debt capital markets and debt private placement transactions for Investment Grade and High Yield issuers. Also executed several bank syndicated transactions.

Successfully managed all operations and project executions of engineering consulting firm (30 professionals). Originated and executed infrastructure projects, including drainage system for a new international airport in Ecuador, for the International Civil Aviation Organization. Led engineering technology R&D. Devised mathematical models that enhanced technical capabilities.
