As the Head of Logistics at Food Rocket, a fast-growing online grocery delivery service, I managed 5+ locations across 2 cities and 2 direct reports, overseeing the entire logistics process from order placement to delivery. I analyzed key metrics and reported weekly to the Head of Operations, identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks. I also developed and automated an employee training program, increasing efficiency and quality standards.Before joining Food Rocket, I was the Director of Operations at Fridge No More, another online grocery delivery startup, where I led the Operation and managed 29 locations and 10+ direct reports. I worked closely with the developers to improve the UX design and backend app functionality, as well as to develop a scheduling algorithm that optimized the delivery routes and times. I also oversaw the company of 700+ employees, creating and implementing a training program and leading company meetings and projects.Currently I am pursuing my degree and am enrolled in a cybersecurity course, where I've learned valuable skills in programming, data analysis, business intelligence and software development. I am comfortable maneuvering various tools and platforms, such as Google Suite, Excel, Tableau, Metabase, Airtable, Deputy, Miro, Notion, Trello and GitHub. I enjoy applying my tech skills & knowledge to optimize and innovate the operations of any company within any industry, making them more convenient, and sustainable for clients and businesses. In previous roles, I've utilized the Kanban method developed by Taiichi Ohno to maintain a seamless approach to leading team projects as well as managing my own projects and tasks.
