Gil Zimmerman, Jr. is a Managing Director of Traust Sollus Wealth Management.Prior to joining Traust Sollus, Gil was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Brown Brothers, Harriman Trust Company, LLC in New York City. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and Trust Counsel for the New Jersey offices of the U.S. Trust Company and Vice President of J. P. Morgan & Co. in New York City.Gil is an admitted member of the New Jersey and Federal Bars. Before returning to the business of private banking, Gil practiced law, specializing in real property law, planning for closely-held businesses and estate and trust planning and administration. Gil received his JD from the Seton Hall University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree (graduating magna cum laude) from the W. Paul Stillman School of Business Administration of Seton Hall University.Gil and his wife Karen live in Morristown, New Jersey. Gil is a thirty-year member of the Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, New Jersey. The Zimmermans maintain a part-time residence on Kiawah Island, South Carolina and are members of the Kiawah Island Club.
