After a master's degree in marine biology and a fishery engineer, I worked for 10 years as an R&D manager in one of the leading French tuna fishing vessels, CFTO. Thanks to my expertise, I had set up innovative strategic tools in fish research such as the use of satellite oceanographic data as a tool to help fishing as well as the drafting of good practice guides to obtain the first sanitary agreements for freezer tuna vessels.With this experience, I created the company ISI-FISH in 2007 specialized in the advice and distribution of fishing aid products in France and overseas such as geolocation beacons of fishing gear, repellent devices for cetaceans, electronic monitoring system in France and overseas territories.More recently, aware of the need to support players in the maritime sector in improving the conservation of seafood, I created the company OLEN and developed a technological innovation for the monitoring of the mass concentration of salt in brine and RSW guaranteeing better control of freezing processes and access to a better knowledge of product quality levels.For my end, one of the main challenges of the fishing industry is to implement innovative tools to make the most of marine wild protein resources while reducing the carbon footprint of the means of production and conservation.
