As the fleet administrative assistant, I assist the fleet supervisor in managing the day-to-day operations of the City's vehicles. This includes scheduling maintenance and repairs, managing inventory, tracking fuel usage and expenses, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This also involves coordinating with drivers and other team members to ensure efficient and effective use of the vehicles and equipment. This requires strong organizational and communication skills as I communicate with outside vendors. I am also a liaison between all the departments within my organization, with attention to detail, and knowledge of fleet management software. At the beginning of each fiscal year, one of my main tasks is completing requisitions for purchasing new vehicles.
