As a project manager I'm leading all the technical development for major OEMs.

Lean manufacturing actions:> Kaizen event on production lines: define takt time, balance operator tasks, improve safety, reduce in line stocks and optimize work floor surface.> Kaizen event on raw material flow: reduce raw material stocks, improve safety, increase raw material turns, define a “supermarket” and adapted packaging.> Kaizen event on customer needs: optimize minimum order quantities, reduce lead time between order and production, reduce finish product stocks and improve safety.> Set production lines to takt time and follow up.> Reduce wastes: in process stocks, overproductions, scraps.6 Sigma projects:> Reduce lead time for subassembly delivery in order to increase production flexibility, reduce safety stocks. Project savings: 500 000 $> Reduce defects on a subassembly and associated leaks on finish products by optimizing processes control. Project savings: 200 000 $> Reduce raw material scraps on a production line by optimizing parameters on equipment and redefining work procedures. Project savings: 100 000 $> Redefine material flow of a kitting activity in order to improve the service to the customer and reduce logistic costs. Project savings: 200 000 $> Redefine individual safety equipments in order to improve operator safety and optimize cost.
