Was educated in the art of Agriculture from a young age on my family farm. Being from a multigenerational farming operation, I had the privilege of learning from many decades of experience. We have always tried to be on the cutting edge of the agricultural industry by finding new and innovative, easy to monetize farm commodities sustainably. From raising livestock to the development of a very successful retail and wholesale flower and vegetable plant operation, I’ve always been encouraged to maintain good relationships with the community and employees as well as economically sound and renewable farming practices. Over the years I have changed business plans to accommodate multiple layers of today’s economy. Venturing into new crops such as strawberry plant start production and successfully helping build the hemp market in Kentucky. Over the last several years I Developed the greenhouse and agricultural platforms for Gencanna global that led to the production of 32 million viable hemp plant starts in greenhouses and the production of more than 6500 acres on farmland in 2019. I have also seen a need for the development of locally grown healthy food options. Systemic Ag Solutions a new business I’ve began has focused on consulting for permaculture and utilizing scientific mechanisms to create old forgotten agriculture practices revolutionized for the 21st century. Also involved in other various businesses not ag related such as a partnership with Huffman’s cleaning and floor care that has now grown x4 since my involvement. Becoming a founder in regenerative Agricultural development has been a highlight in my career in an attempt to make the land healthy again to produce a higher quality product for the consumer.
