So, I do my day job 9-5 in the City (which I love). But I have the privilege of being able to work at The home of English Rugby. Whenever there is a match or an event on, I get the opportunity to be able to work at the best stadium in the World (Officially). I deal with all Corporate Hospitality at Rugby House. Which involves managing the stewards and making sure that all of our guests are dealt with quickly and professionally. The hours tend to be very long, but it is the most enjoyable job I've ever had and the RFU see fit to pay me for the privilege.

After gaining my SSSTS qualification and First Aid, I was on site to manage the construction project. Liaising with sub-contractors and the client to ensures that the job is delivered on time and that everyone in site adheres to HSE rules and guidelines. I was then moved into the office to oversee the projects, but to also work on costings and be more involved with the clients.

It was very much going back to my roots as I had worked in soft furnishings whilst at John Lewis.I did everything from initial quotes for customer, to measuring the clients properties and even went out fitting when needed. While there I supplied curtains and blinds to very prestigious properties and had clients like the French Embassy and Mappin and Webb.

I worked as the Safer Custody Officer, which involved dealing with the safety of all 1000 prisoners and staff within the prison. I had to investigate all violent incidents and report my findings to the Governor. The key to my role was developing relationships with the prisoners and having their trust, whilst maintaining my integrity. I also wrote local policies to cover Debt, Bullying and Transgenders within the prison.

I have recently taken on a new account with the wonderful people at Gu. I am managing the recruitment of staff for their lovely new facility in Bishops Stortford. I have written the complete application pack and assessment day for GU. I have liaised with marketing to create a bespoke online application, and formed partnerships hips with the local college and job centre, to help develop people and place them within a company that will give them a career, not just a job.

Managing the project for the recruitment on site at Hinkley Point C. Looking after a team dealing with all enquiries concerning the site.

I was on secondment as a Campaign Manager working within the Public Appointments team at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.
